They are fleece-lined for warmth and comfort and have pockets for hands, small essentials and knee pads. The gaiters inside are mesh for increased airflow or they zip out completely if you're skiing fast spring corduroy on a crystal clear day. Zippers at the ankles allow these OR pants to expand to fit easily over ski and mountaineering boots.
