Pieps DSP Firmware 8.2 Upgrade

Send us your old Pieps DSP avalanche beacon using the carrier of your choice and we will upgrade the firmware to the latest version and send it back to you. The new 8.2 firmware includes previous updates and adds TX600 search. TX600 search is used for dogs and equipment, transmitting on a separate frequency from standard search. By pressing OPTIONS and SCAN while in seach mode DSP avalanche beacons swith into TX600 mode with the new firmware. All new DSP avalanche beacons ship with Firmware 8.2 as of September 2011, check your unit by simultaneously pressing SCAN and "" or "(((" depending on your beacon and the version number should appear.
