The K2 COOMBAck Ski is a K2 touring ski named after fallen modern adventure skier Doug Coombs - in tribute to his zest to earn turns, these lightweight skis strike the perfect balance between weight and performance. Solid, stable and predictable on the descend, yet light enough for backcountry touring. All-terrain rocker offers 70 percent traditional camber and 30 percent rocker to gives you float and maneuverability. The elevated, rocker tip provides variable and soft snow performance while camber underfoot delivers power, energy and edge-hold in firmer conditions. SnoPhobic top-sheets repel snow to keep you light and efficient on the climb. The running surface along the ski bottom is hydrophobic by design. Powder-specific tip design makes the tip's widest point its forward contact point, as opposed to 7 cm in front of it like K2's other shaped skis, creating a more stable and predictable powder ski that won't grab in the variable conditions you find in the backcountry.
