Anatomically shaped, pivoting Vari-Flex hip belt saves energy and adds comfort by moving without over uneven terrain. The pull-forward hib belt buckle and compression straps on the hip belt fins bring the pack against your back for excellent weight transfer. the multi-chamered aluminum X-frame transfers weight from your shoulders to your hips. Top loading access, a sleeping bag compartment, and new U-shaped front panel access make it easier than ever to find what you're looking for in your pack. Three side compression straps control the contents of your pack and create extra lashing for items outside the pack. The adjustable top lid rises up to accommodate the expansion collar, and has two pockets for gear organization.
